Meet our Instructors!

In 2012, Taylor received his B.M. in Music Education with an emphasis in Vocal Performance from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, IL. While at Elmhurst, Taylor was a leading member in several musical ensembles including the Elmhurst College Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and the award winning vocal jazz ensemble Late Night Blues. As an educator, Taylor has worked extensively throughout the Chicagoland area as a guest clinician and adjudicator for several elementary and middle school choral ensembles. He has also served as a director and choreographer for multiple musical productions, most recently working with Sarah Giordano at Jackson Middle School on their productions of Once Upon a Mattress and The Music Man Jr. Prior to Trinity Music Center, Taylor spent two years serving as the theater and acting instructor at Beyond Center Stage Performing Arts Academy in Elmhurst. When not teaching, Taylor can be seen working as a professional actor and solo artist throughout the Chicagoland area. Favorite professional credits include Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Alone Together with Big Noise Theater, the US- non equity premier of Tomorrow Morning with Towle Theater, and the world premier of The Lockout: a Musical at the American Theater Company in Chicago.

Brooke is currently a senior at Elmhurst College, majoring in Music Education with a Choral/Vocal focus with a minor in Spanish. She started taking private piano lessons in 5th grade and has continued through her college career. Brooke’s primary instrument is her voice and she has been singing ever since she can remember. She started taking private voice lessons as a sophomore in High School and now studies Classical and Musical Theatre under Jennifer Mather.  At Elmhurst, Brooke has performed as a part of the Women’s Chorus, BLUE Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and currently performs with the Elmhurst College Concert Choir. She has recently had the opportunity to sing Jazz & Pop tunes at a local coffee shop on Friday evenings and enjoys performing in both solo and ensemble settings. Brooke enjoys listening to and teaching all styles of music from Classical to Country and is open to working with students of any age. She truly believes that it is never too early or too late to learn the universal language of music.
