WELCOME TO TRINITY! We are very happy that you are here to worship with us today. Trinity Lutheran Church and Nursery School believes that we are called to be "ALWAYS GROWING IN CHRIST" and we want to do everything possible to help you grow. We pray that the Gospel you hear today will take root in your life and do just that, grow.

The Lord's Table: We believe that the Lord's Supper (Holy Communion) is the real body and blood of Jesus Christ, given to us in a supernatural way in, with and under the bread and the wine for the forgiveness of our sins and the strengthening of our faith. If you believe likewise, please join us at the altar when it is time to celebrate this holy meal. If you are unsure as to whether or not to commune with us, please speak with the pastor before worship.

Attendance on Saturday 25, communed 24; Sunday 179, communed 146

Offerings: Capital Improvement: $36.00; Adopt-A-Student: $28.00
Needed per Sunday: $7150.00, Received last Sunday: $5421.00

There is a cry nursery available every Sunday during the late service and during the Christian Education Hour for pre-school age children and younger.

ALTAR FLOWERS We thank God for 40 years of service to the church as we rejoice with Bishop Ritt and Carol on his 40th anniversary of ordination and his 70th birthday.

YOUTH TRIP - KANE COUNTY COUGARS - Thursday, July 2 Kane County Cougars vs. Peoria Chiefs @ 3:30 - 9:30 (approx.) Cost: $8 for lawn seats and money for food. Or you can bring something to eat from home. Since we'll be sitting on the lawn bring along a blanket or chair. The night will end with some pre-July 4 fireworks! If you're a Cub fan like Jackson you won't be cheering for the Cougars because the Chiefs are the Cubs minor league team. Drivers will be needed! Meet in the church parking lot at 3:30. We'll call on our way home because we won't know the exact time all the fun will end.

NATIONAL YOUTH GATHERING - The youth are in the early planning stages for their trip to the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans 2010. Many of them will need to earn money to make their deposit in October. We have a list of youth who are willing to cut grass, babysit, pull weeds, or do other odd jobs to earn this money. Please contact Judy Bruschuk (630-220-6364) if you would like to hire one of these ambitious young people to work for you.
