ADULTS


Jubilate Choir    
Rehearses every Thursday (8:00 - 9:00pm) in the Music Room. This choir leads the congregation in worship and helps them learn new music. They sing approximately every other week and for many of the major feast days of the church year. An ability to read music is not necessary.

Bells of Praise    
Rehearses every Wednesday (7:00 - 7:45pm) in the balcony of the sanctuary. This hand bell ensemble plays approximately once a month and for many major feast days of the church year. If you can count to four, you can play hand bells!

Soloists
Singers and instrumentalists can perform as soloists or with a small ensemble, with rehearsals scheduled on an individual basis.

YOUTH


Confirmation Ringers
A portion of the confirmation training on Wednesdays for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders is devoted to worship and music, including instruction in chimes and bells. The Confirmation Ringers participate in worship services and other events approximately four times per year.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Junior High Music
Sunday School students in 6th through 8th grades are invited to sing for two important events related to the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.  A mass children’s choir of several hundred voices will sing a newly-composed anthem at Concordia University’s Reformation Celebration on Saturday, October 28.  Then on Reformation Sunday, October 29, Trinity’s singers between 3rd and 9th grades will join the Jubilate (Adult) Choir on the same anthem for Trinity’s own celebration at 10:30 am.  In December, the singers in Junior High Music are the leaders of Trinity’s Children’s Christmas program.  This music group not only sings for this event, but provides much of the acting.

Cherub Choir
This choir for our youngest singers rehearses during the Sunday School hour.  They are joined by children from the Trinity Church Nursery School (TCNS) when they sing for selected worship services during the school year.  In December, the Cherub Choir (TCNS and Sunday School grades PreK - 2nd) participates in Trinity’s Children’s Christmas program; they not only sing for this event, but provide some of the acting.
