Judy Bruschuk Youth Ministries Director E-Mail: [email protected] Judy Bruschuk has been youth director at Trinity since 2002, after serving as a volunteer for 8 years. She and her family have been members here since 1976. She oversees the middle school, high school, and college age groups and is the creator and director of Trinity's newest youth ministry, The Projects an after-school program for junior high age. "I consider myself an "accidental youth director". God led me to take on the role when I was searching for ways to fill the empty-nest as my own children were leaving home. What started as a volunteer opportunity to fill a gap and a void, evolved into a job that fulfills a passion. The Lord has presented many opportunities for me, and my remarkable support team of volunteers to expand and develop youth ministry programs at Trinity. I am now blessed to have my grandchildren as members of the youth groups.” Judy, her husband Dave and their extended family all live in Villa Park. Her family includes daughter, Shelly and husband Bob, Carrie and husband, George, children Elijah, Noah, and Aliyah, and son, Derek, wife Sara and children Jacob and Natalie. |

She manages the entire music program, serving both as organist and as the director of choirs and instrumental groups for all ages. Besides making music, I also get to work with people of all ages and musical abilities, as well as enjoy many types of music and instruments besides my own principal instrument, the organ. Running a church music program also requires management and business skills, for which I have been well trained." There are many ways for everyone to serve as a musician at Trinity, whether as a singing member of the congregation, a soloist, a member of an ensemble, or a behind-the-scenes volunteer to help with the music program.
